Spring is in the Air!

My Apricots and Nectarines are in full bloom, the Almonds are almost there.
Daffodils are trumpeting their arrival. Everywhere I look I see new growth; leaves, flowers, bulbs pushing forth.

The violets blanket the ground in a purple haze, while the grass is growing like it is being watered with Miracle Grow.

I have started several jiffy pots with Cherry Tomatoes, Big Boy, Delicious, Beef Steak, and some Heirlooms and something called Salba, (Salvia hispanica L.), which is said to be rich in fiber, alpha-linolenic acid and minerals.
The rains that started today and are scheduled to continue throughout the week may spell little or no fruit this summer.
